Töllsjö IFK's Daniel Skark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Gustavsson in the 9th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Allan Skog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the game, Gösta Melander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Daniel Skark was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gösta Melander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Skark read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Börje Gustavsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torslanda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Gustavsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens-Åke Björklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Strand having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Strömqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustaf Bryngelsson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The referee ignored Torslanda's protests and gave Börje Gustavsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Töllsjö IFK booed when Torslanda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Gustavsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torslanda's Alvin Strand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Åke Björklund in the 69th minute of play. If Börje Gustavsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Töllsjö IFK getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Allan Skog hit a great ball. When the match was over Torslanda could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Töllsjö IFK throughout the match.
