In the 5th minute, Lennart Ålberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Stellan Lund, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 7 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sören Benet was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Elliott Ennegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Stig-Ove Falck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Stig-Ove Falck managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Gysinge FF's Elliott Ennegren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egon Borre in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Ove Falck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Eric Valström came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Virsbo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Valström couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Virsbo booed when Gysinge FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Stenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Stellan Lund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gysinge FF's Sören Benet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Stig-Ove Falck managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Gysinge FF's Elliott Ennegren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lennart Ålberg kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peder Bruse to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Elliott Ennegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Ove Falck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Elliott Ennegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gysinge FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elliott Ennegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stig-Ove Falck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Ennegren in the 61st minute of play. Stellan Lund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Sören Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elliott Ennegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Wilhelm Forsman fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Virsbo's protests and gave Wilhelm Forsman a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Virsbo got a freekick which was hit by Wilhelm Forsman. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Wilhelm Forsman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Virsbo's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilhelm Forsman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sören Benet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sören Benet made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Stellan Lund sent off a good shot on target. If Eric Valström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gysinge FF booed when Virsbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hampus Hedbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sören Benet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stellan Lund in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute Eric Valström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Benet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
