Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eric Valström started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Stellan Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Hellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Ove Falck having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Verner Blomqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Christian Hellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kristian Carlsson came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Björnlunda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristian Carlsson couldn't finish the play. Eric Valström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stellan Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Björnlunda's goalkeeper Rutger Axelsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute Stellan Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rutger Axelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Christian Hellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, Björnlunda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Hellbom to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Lennart Ålberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Virsbo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Björnlunda the free kick. A collision led to Virsbo getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Lennart Ålberg hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Christian Hellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Björnlunda's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Hellbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig-Ove Falck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Björnlunda's Rutger Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Valström in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Björn Sjödin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Stellan Lund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rutger Axelsson. Björnlunda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stellan Lund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Christian Hellbom charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Hellbom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Björnlunda getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Christian Hellbom hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kristian Carlsson to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Virsbo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Forsman to maneuver through the defense. Wilhelm Forsman came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rutger Axelsson could save by the left post. If Stellan Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Eric Valström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Valström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes Eric Valström rounded Björnlunda's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Björnlunda's Kristian Carlsson got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Björnlunda's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Valström came free, but Rutger Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rutger Axelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Valström in the 83rd minute of play. Björnlunda's Rutger Axelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Björnlunda from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Verner Blomqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per-Erik Tingelholm during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Björnlunda's Per-Erik Tingelholm got a free kick in the 87th minute. When Sven-Ove Skarkman came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Björnlunda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Ove Skarkman couldn't finish the play. Wilhelm Forsman's late challenge caught a Björnlunda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilhelm Forsman helped the player get up and apologised.
