After 2 played minutes Arlöv got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Falkrans. With a little luck, Arlöv's Ivar Vennerberg got control of the ball when Allan Björkkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludvig Utter during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 5 played minutes Arlöv got a freekick which was hit by Ludvig Utter. 7 minutes into the match, Kasper Falkrans notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Holmsjö's Nicklas Österlund. Nicklas Österlund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ivar Vennerberg made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Allan Björkkvist sent off a good shot on target. Torgny Frisk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 minutes, Stellan Beneth made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Holmsjö's Nicklas Österlund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicklas Österlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Beneth in the 23rd minute of the match. Ivar Vennerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Frisk, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Arlöv's Thomas Vibjörnsson got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Torgny Frisk came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Holmsjö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torgny Frisk couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Holmsjö booed when Arlöv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Zachrisson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicklas Österlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Beneth in the 43rd minute of the match. Allan Björkkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivar Vennerberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Allan Björkkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivar Vennerberg was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Torgny Frisk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Torgny Frisk really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torgny Frisk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Allan Björkkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Vennerberg having to interfere. In the 53rd match minute, Arlöv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sture Askestät to maneuver through the defense. Torgny Frisk took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivar Vennerberg. Ivar Vennerberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Markus Kjellkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Peter Kolberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivar Vennerberg. Arlöv's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arlöv's Ivar Vennerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgny Frisk in the 76th minute of play. Holmsjö's Allan Björkkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Arlöv defense, Allan Björkkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivar Vennerberg. The Arlöv fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivar Vennerberg should have stopped the shot. Torgny Frisk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ivar Vennerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Björkkvist in the 87th minute of the match. If Allan Björkkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivar Vennerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Frisk, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Allan Björkkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torgny Frisk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Holmsjö had won after a very even match.
