Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Löfdahl started the match with the kick off. When Vetlanda RK's Karl-Ove Finnman in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kungsör's Axel Löfdahl got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malte Lundkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Bengt-Rune Möller made a huge save. In the 12th minute, Karl-Ove Finnman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14thth minute of the game Axel Löfdahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vetlanda RK's Rune Hellkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karl-Ove Finnman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Möller having to interfere. Kungsör's Bengt-Rune Möller proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Kungsör from getting a goal against them. After having played for 25 minutes, Johannes Bodin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vetlanda RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Bodin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt-Rune Möller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Finnman in the 32nd minute of play. If Karl-Ove Finnman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Vetlanda RK's Kalle Wennerlund got a free kick in the 46th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Kungsör's Börje Sjö tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Ove Finnman to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Ove Finnman in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Rune Möller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kungsör's Allan Askelöf got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vetlanda RK's John Sundström got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute, Allan Askelöf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Karl-Ove Finnman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Karl-Ove Finnman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Malte Lundkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt-Rune Möller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malte Lundkvist in the 83rd minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Axel Löfdahl in the 86th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A hard shot 88 in the game by Allan Askelöf from a close distance when the talented Rune Hellkvist managed to make a qualified save. Vetlanda RK's players were relieved. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vetlanda RK had played much better football throughout.
