Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rolf Söderqwist took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Rolf Söderqwist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nittorp RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolf Söderqwist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Falk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 5 minutes, Rolf Söderqwist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nittorp RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolf Söderqwist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nittorp RK's Kristoffer Ahlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Nittorp RK from getting a goal against them. Ivar Falk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Söderqwist, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the game, one of Nittorp RK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kristoffer Ahlin went to the wrong direction when Joacim Smed was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When Ingmar Arvidsson fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mellbystrand FF's protests and gave Ingmar Arvidsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mellbystrand FF getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ingmar Arvidsson hit a great ball. Kristoffer Ahlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Thorsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jan-Erik Nordin came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Mellbystrand FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Erik Nordin couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Nittorp RK's zone, Michael Thorsberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristoffer Ahlin came out of the goal and Michael Thorsberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zebastian Hägglund's late challenge caught a Mellbystrand FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zebastian Hägglund helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Nittorp RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zebastian Hägglund to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Erik Nordin might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristoffer Ahlin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Erik Nordin ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Mellbystrand FF's Ingmar Arvidsson got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Douglas Wennerström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ivar Falk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute Rolf Söderqwist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Falk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Thorsberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Michael Thorsberg made the kick off in the second half. Kristoffer Ahlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Nordin, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Michael Thorsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mellbystrand FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Thorsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Mellbystrand FF booed when Nittorp RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolf Söderqwist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristoffer Ahlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Erik Nordin in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Samuel Lundin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mellbystrand FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nittorp RK the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Mellbystrand FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Lundin to maneuver through the defense. After 67 minutes of play Mellbystrand FF's Ingmar Arvidsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Mellbystrand FF's Ingmar Arvidsson got a free kick in the 68th minute. A collision led to Mellbystrand FF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Michael Thorsberg hit a great ball. Jan-Erik Nordin struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Kristoffer Ahlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mellbystrand FF. When Jan-Erik Nordin came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Mellbystrand FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Erik Nordin couldn't finish the play. Lars Alefors charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars Alefors the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lars Alefors hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Ivar Falk didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Jan-Erik Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Kristoffer Ahlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Nittorp RK's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Thorsberg came free, but Kristoffer Ahlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mellbystrand FF players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
