Helgum IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sune Sander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Karl-Magnus Stabbe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Billy Nilsson was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Helgum IF's Karl-Magnus Stabbe got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Golden Buzzer's Anton Grelsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Morgan Fredriksson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
