The supporters of Stigen BK booed when Gersnäs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Tunander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Bergman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Bröms, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Stigen BK's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Tunander came free, but Jörgen Forsman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Liljeström succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Tunander in the 16th minute of play forced Stigen BK's goalkeeper Jörgen Forsman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Stigen BK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Malcolm Johnsson hit a great ball. A hard shot 21 in the game by Olof Bröms from a close distance when the talented Oscar Bergman managed to make a qualified save. Gersnäs FC's players were relieved. Olof Bröms recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olof Bröms received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oscar Bergman came out and tried to block the shot, but Olof Bröms slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Gersnäs FC's goalkeeper Oscar Bergman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Liljeström. 38 minutes into the match, Emil Liljeström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oscar Bergman. Gersnäs FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emil Liljeström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Emil Liljeström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Oscar Bergman made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Olof Bröms made the kick off in the second half. Egon Uter's late challenge caught a Stigen BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egon Uter helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, Gersnäs FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egon Uter to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute Stigen BK were awarded a corner. Ian Nordal went to the cornerflag to take it. Egon Uter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Forsman having to interfere. If Egon Uter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 played minutes Stigen BK got a freekick which was hit by Ian Nordal. 70 minutes into the match, Gersnäs FC's Simon Back broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 75 minutes, Emil Liljeström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stigen BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Liljeström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Olof Bröms's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Bergman was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Gersnäs FC's Zebastian Ahlroht got a free kick in the 77th minute. Olof Bröms spun around in front of the goal 79 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Gersnäs FC's goal. Olof Bröms received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Oscar Bergman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörgen Forsman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Tunander in the 83rd minute of the match. Egon Uter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Jörgen Forsman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emil Liljeström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Bergman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Johnsson in the 91st minute of play forced Gersnäs FC's goalkeeper Oscar Bergman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Stigen BK had won after a very even match.
