Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 4 minutes of play, Åsa's Eric Biörling made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Göran Malmberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the game, Harry Sundin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Märsta FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åsa the free kick. Harry Sundin kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Eric Biörling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Malmberg having to interfere. Thor Johansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Kling having to interfere. When Harry Sundin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. 27 minutes into the match, Åsa's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Törnblom came free, but Lennart Kling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johan Törnblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thor Johansson in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lennart Kling, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johan Törnblom in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lennart Kling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eric Biörling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Isaac Lindholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Göran Malmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Kinell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eric Biörling made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Åsa's Alfred Lennartsson got a free kick in the 54th minute. Johan Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Lennart Säf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åsa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Märsta FK the free kick. After 58 played minutes Åsa got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Säf. When Lennart Säf was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. Märsta FK's Göran Malmberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Märsta FK from getting a goal against them. Johan Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Kling having to interfere. With a little luck, Märsta FK's Göran Malmberg got control of the ball when Mattias Valström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mattias Valström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Göran Malmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Märsta FK had won after a very even match.
