Tomas Sundberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils Eliasson during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcus Haraldsson in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomas Sundberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Birger Kristiansson's late challenge caught a Lidsjöberg FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birger Kristiansson helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Lidsjöberg FF defense, Nils Eliasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christoffer Björklund. The Lidsjöberg FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christoffer Björklund should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Marcus Haraldsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lidsjöberg FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Haraldsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Sundberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Birger Kristiansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Björklund having to interfere. A collision led to Lidsjöberg FF getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Egon Skröder hit a great ball. Christoffer Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Grönberg in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Ingvar Nord mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Butchers and the Lidsjöberg FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute of the match Lidsjöberg FF got a corner. Butchers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Egon Skröder ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lidsjöberg FF's Egon Skröder was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomas Sundberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A hard shot by Tommy Sundström from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Tomas Sundberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Haraldsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcus Haraldsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Tomas Sundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Boris Vall made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Sundberg. Butchers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 57 minutes into the match, Lidsjöberg FF's goal looked a bit too open when Einar Grönberg came free, but Christoffer Björklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Butchers's Einar Grönberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Einar Grönberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Butchers's supporters rose to their feet, but Einar Grönberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Björklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Marcus Haraldsson came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Lidsjöberg FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Haraldsson couldn't finish the play. After having played for 69 minutes, Boris Vall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lidsjöberg FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boris Vall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boris Vall struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Tomas Sundberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lidsjöberg FF. 75 minutes into the match, Marcus Haraldsson notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Butchers's Tomas Sundberg. Tomas Sundberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christoffer Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einar Grönberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Einar Grönberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
