Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Claes Vennerberg made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Nils Eliasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Butchers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Nils Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikard Petersson having to interfere. Braås's Claes Vennerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Butchers's Tomas Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Ekeroth in the 19th minute of play. If Claes Vennerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 played minutes Butchers got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Nord. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claes Vennerberg in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Sundberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Axel Dahlman hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Einar Grönberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Butchers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Einar Grönberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rikard Petersson made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Nils Eliasson sent off a good shot on target. Rikard Petersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Einar Grönberg in the 41st minute of the match. Braås were furious when Magnus Ahlstedt was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Einar Grönberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rikard Petersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Grönberg in the 54th minute of play. Edgar Gustavsson kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Roy Ekeroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Sundberg having to interfere. Tomas Sundberg made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Edvard Igelström sent off a good shot on target. If Roy Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Braås defense, Einar Grönberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rikard Petersson. The Braås fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rikard Petersson should have stopped the shot. Rikard Petersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Einar Grönberg in the 80th minute of the match. Roy Ekeroth's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tomas Sundberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nils Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikard Petersson having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Einar Grönberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rikard Petersson. Braås's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Einar Grönberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Braås's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
