In the 25th minute, Fred Kullander fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Niclas Vestberg, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Sillén in the 27th minute of play forced Vejbystrand RK's goalkeeper Gunnar Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, Vejbystrand RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esbjörn Bergkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Jan Vester sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vejbystrand RK's Gunnar Björklund didn't even have to move. The Gunnar Björklund was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Niklas Rosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute.
