Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Pontus Gustavsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Linus Barck was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Joar Snell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Biörk, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute, Peter Sjöman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joar Snell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harald Bollström in the 14th minute. Sivert Mikaelsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Linus Barck having to make a save. Ian Alkvist's late challenge caught a Holy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ian Alkvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, one of Nässjö IFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nässjö IFK. After a defensive mix-up in Holy's zone, Ove Ekeroth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Linus Barck came out of the goal and Ove Ekeroth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pontus Gustavsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Linus Barck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Holy got a freekick which was hit by Wictor Johnsson. 45 minutes into the match, Nässjö IFK's goalkeeper Joar Snell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harald Bollström. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After having played for 51 minutes, Hans Biörk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Biörk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ove Ekeroth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Linus Barck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Nässjö IFK booed when Holy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wictor Johnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ola Lindblom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Linus Barck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Ekeroth in the 62nd minute of play. Harald Bollström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joar Snell having to interfere. Hans Biörk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Holy's Linus Barck got control of the ball when Pontus Gustavsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Olov Örn fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holy's protests and gave Olov Örn a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Harald Bollström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holy's supporters rose to their feet, but Harald Bollström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joar Snell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Nässjö IFK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Holy:s goal. Gustav Jonasson placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Rickard Åhman struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Linus Barck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nässjö IFK. Hans Biörk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joar Snell having to make a save. Holy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
