Olof Hult received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Oliver Alströmmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 4 minutes into the game, Viktor Utter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tommarp IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marsfjäll IK the free kick. Viktor Utter kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Jan-Åke Boström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bo Wennerquists short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Oliver Alströmmer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 10th minute Olof Hult shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Alströmmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommarp IFK's Oliver Alströmmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Tommarp IFK from getting a goal against them. After 15 played minutes Tommarp IFK got a freekick which was hit by Allan Söderqvist. After a rather tough play, Tommarp IFK's Sakarias Sigman got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Olof Hult had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Olofsson charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Olofsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Marsfjäll IK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tommarp IFK:s goal. The referee gave Tommarp IFK a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Olov Fransson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Marsfjäll IK's Jan-Åke Boström. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Olofsson in the 33rd minute of play forced Marsfjäll IK's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Boström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute William Häger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Boström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arne Wallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jan-Åke Boström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olof Hult recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oliver Alströmmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Hult in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Tommarp IFK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bo Wennerquist made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Marsfjäll IK's Karl-Erik Sandberg got a free kick in the 50th minute. Olov Fransson's shot from long distance in the 52nd minute was not bad at all, but Marsfjäll IK's Jan-Åke Boström knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Marsfjäll IK's Jan-Åke Boström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Olofsson in the 55th minute of play. August Kråk's late challenge caught a Tommarp IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. August Kråk helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Marsfjäll IK's August Kråk got a free kick in the 56th minute. Bo Wennerquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Häger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Jan-Åke Boström made a huge save. Måns Apelkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Måns Apelkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tommarp IFK booed when Marsfjäll IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Måns Apelkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, William Häger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oliver Alströmmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Hult, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marsfjäll IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Hult was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliver Alströmmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute, one of Tommarp IFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tommarp IFK. If Olof Hult had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Marsfjäll IK's Bo Wennerquist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliver Alströmmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Marsfjäll IK's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Boström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by William Häger. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Marsfjäll IK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tommarp IFK:s goal. The goalkeeper, Jan-Åke Boström, was totally fooled by Tommarp IFK's Olov Fransson, who 99 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Marsfjäll IK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
