Timmy Billvall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Boris Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute Tony Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timmy Billvall scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boris Lindström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tony Jonasson struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Boris Lindström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mullsjö IF. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Jonasson in the 18th minute of play forced Malmö FF's goalkeeper Boris Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvald Fernström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Boris Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristian Unesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Brandin, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Malmö FF's Boris Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Jonasson in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joar Björkkvist during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Tony Jonasson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boris Lindström was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Tony Jonasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gustav Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Brandin to make the kick off. Boris Lindström came out of the goal and Timmy Billvall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Mullsjö IF's Kristian Unesson got control of the ball when Gustav Olsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Timmy Billvall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mullsjö IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 69thth minute of the game Leonardo Brandin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mullsjö IF's Kristian Unesson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mullsjö IF's Timmy Billvall got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Jonasson in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boris Lindström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute, Joakim Berggren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Malmö FF's zone, Timmy Billvall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Lindström came out of the goal and Timmy Billvall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timmy Billvall in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boris Lindström saved Malmö FF from getting behind. Tony Jonasson's late challenge caught a Malmö FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tony Jonasson helped the player get up and apologised. Tony Jonasson hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Mullsjö IF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Malmö FF for a fine match.
