Ted Hybbert's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, August Fransson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 13 played minutes, Skurup's Georg Lindqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Artemio Mateo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Skurup reached it. Artemio Mateo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Källberg in the 14th minute of play. Tor Sander made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Anfield Reds's Malcolm Abrahamsson. After a defensive mix-up in Skurup's zone, Malcolm Abrahamsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Fransson came out of the goal and Malcolm Abrahamsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artemio Mateo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Isaac Källberg put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Artemio Mateo. Artemio Mateo came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Skurup's Isaac Källberg. But to his dismay, Isaac Källberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Artemio Mateo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Axel Gabrielsson went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Ted Hybbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Källberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Robert Nyqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artemio Mateo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Axel Gabrielsson in the 57th minute. After 59 played minutes Isaac Källberg rounded Anfield Reds's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. A collision led to Skurup getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jan Henriksson hit a great ball. Isaac Källberg kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ted Hybbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anfield Reds's supporters rose to their feet, but Ted Hybbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. August Fransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jim Ryberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Anfield Reds's Anton Sillén sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that August Fransson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Hybbert in the 81st minute of play forced Skurup's goalkeeper August Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Jansson kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Anfield Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Lundström to maneuver through the defense. When Karl-Axel Gabrielsson came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Skurup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Axel Gabrielsson couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Skurup were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Anfield Reds side.
