In the 4th minute of the match Georg Lindqvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boris Lindström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jan Henriksson's late challenge caught a Malmö FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Henriksson helped the player get up and apologised. Jan Henriksson hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Malmö FF's Leonardo Brandin got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gustav Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Karl-Axel Gabrielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Brandin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Brandin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but August Fransson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Gustav Olsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Fransson having to interfere. If Gustav Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isaac Källberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Boris Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Skurup's Jan Henriksson suffered a concussion in the 32nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 32 minutes, Simon Duset mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malmö FF and the Skurup players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Simon Duset hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Malmö FF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Axel Gabrielsson came free, but Boris Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Isaac Källberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skurup's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Källberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boris Lindström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Axel Gabrielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Lindström having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Karl-Axel Gabrielsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Axel Gabrielsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Axel Gabrielsson got free with Boris Lindström in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Brandin in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck August Fransson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Axel Gabrielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Lindström having to interfere. Karl-Johan Nordstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Malmö FF's Niklas Ahlquist got a free kick in the 64th minute. With a little luck, Malmö FF's Boris Lindström got control of the ball when Karl-Axel Gabrielsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joakim Sigfridsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Axel Gabrielsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Boris Lindström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 70 minutes, Vincent Jansson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Malmö FF's Boris Lindström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Malmö FF's Boris Lindström got control of the ball when Karl-Johan Nordstedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Malmö FF's goalkeeper Boris Lindström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Axel Gabrielsson. If Karl-Axel Gabrielsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niklas Ahlquist kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Malmö FF's zone, Karl-Axel Gabrielsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Lindström came out of the goal and Karl-Axel Gabrielsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Isaac Källberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skurup's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Källberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boris Lindström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Malmö FF getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Simon Duset hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joakim Sigfridsson during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 played minutes Skurup got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Sigfridsson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Axel Gabrielsson got free with Boris Lindström in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the match, Malmö FF's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Källberg came free, but Boris Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Skurup booed when Malmö FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklas Ahlquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Malmö FF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Karl-Axel Gabrielsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Malmö FF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Skurup's performance. The match ended with a win for Skurup.
