Jonatan Kvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvin Pihlwall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonatan Kvist ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the match, Gösta Ersman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alvin Pihlwall, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Adrian Pilgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Super Friends getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Kalle Bogren hit a great ball. The supporters of FC Super Friends booed when Stenungsund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Gummeson didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Super Friends's Allan Sjöö got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. John Björk kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 24 minutes, Kalle Bogren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Super Friends and the Stenungsund players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Gösta Ersman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stenungsund's supporters rose to their feet, but Gösta Ersman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvin Pihlwall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pontus Kellbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Albin Björkqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Super Friends's zone, Gösta Ersman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvin Pihlwall came out of the goal and Gösta Ersman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the game, Sven-Arne Heggert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stenungsund's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Super Friends the free kick. Alvin Pihlwall made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Jonatan Kvist sent off a good shot on target. Alvin Pihlwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Ersman in the 46th minute of play.

In the 52nd minute Gösta Ersman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvin Pihlwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stenungsund's Sven-Arne Heggert pulled a muscle in his leg after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. FC Super Friends's Kalle Bogren got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Kalle Bogren off the ground. Kalle Bogren kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Pontus Kellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Super Friends's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pontus Kellbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Super Friends fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Stenungsund a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by John Björk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Super Friends's Alvin Pihlwall. 2-0. Jonatan Kvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvin Pihlwall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Jonatan Kvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stenungsund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Kvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Jonatan Kvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gösta Ersman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, FC Super Friends's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Kvist came free, but Alvin Pihlwall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvin Pihlwall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Kvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, Jonatan Kvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Alvin Pihlwall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ture Åberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Albin Björkqvist made a huge save. Ture Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stenungsund's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
