After 7 minutes, Henrik Bålström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MSH C and the Lyckeby BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lyckeby BF booed when MSH C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Bålström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt Björklund in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anton Pettersson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lyckeby BF's Joachim Vinström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Anton Pettersson but with some difficulty. In the 18th minute Andreas Ahlgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Gudmundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes in the game, Matthias Hjortberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Anton Pettersson having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Sven-Olof Liljeström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fredric Gudmundsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marko Ödmann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fredric Gudmundsson. Lyckeby BF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Matthias Hjortberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anton Pettersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt Björklund got free with Anton Pettersson in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When MSH C's Andreas Ahlgren in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lyckeby BF's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sven-Olof Liljeström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fredric Gudmundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Lyckeby BF got a freekick which was hit by Jim Hydén. Fredric Gudmundsson had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Rutger Nilsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Rutger Nilsson did an outstanding performance 60 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-3 to the right of an irritated Fredric Gudmundsson in the goal. In the 66thth minute of the game Andreas Ahlgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lyckeby BF's Fredric Gudmundsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bengt Björklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Pettersson having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Bengt Björklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Fredric Gudmundsson managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when MSH C's Sven-Olof Liljeström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Matthias Hjortberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredric Gudmundsson was a little too slow when Henrik Bålström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-4. With a little luck, Lyckeby BF's Fredric Gudmundsson got control of the ball when Sven-Olof Liljeström tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, MSH C's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Hjortberg came free, but Anton Pettersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 97th minute of the match Bror Stenkvist completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bror Stenkvist a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Bror Stenkvist hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
