After 18 played minutes Saltsjöbaden got a freekick which was hit by Dan Stenquist. Blomstermåla's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The Saltsjöbaden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Tönnberg should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harry Håkansson to strike the kick off in the second half. Jörn Wallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 played minutes Blomstermåla got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Mellin. Joakim Holm, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Paul Tönnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Håkansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blomstermåla's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
