After some careless play in the Jonstorp defense, Lennart Sandwall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvar Torstensson. The Jonstorp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvar Torstensson should have stopped the shot. In the 6th minute, Andreas Hybbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torsten Myhr came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Paul Tönnberg could save by the left post. Saltsjöbaden's Jörn Wallin got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paul Tönnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Lenberg in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Sandwall in the 15th minute of play forced Jonstorp's goalkeeper Alvar Torstensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Lennart Sandwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Torstensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jonstorp's goalkeeper Alvar Torstensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfred Lenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Tönnberg having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Saltsjöbaden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Nyman to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Myhrs short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Paul Tönnberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alfred Lenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Tönnberg having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Andreas Hybbert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saltsjöbaden and the Jonstorp players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jonstorp booed when Saltsjöbaden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklas Åhlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Åke Lind kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Saltsjöbaden's Lennart Sandwall got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfred Lenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lennart Sandwall made a kick off. If Jörn Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Sandwall in the 59th minute of play forced Jonstorp's goalkeeper Alvar Torstensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörn Wallin struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Alvar Torstensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saltsjöbaden. Alvar Torstensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörn Wallin in the 63rd minute. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Lennart Sandwall took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Alvar Torstensson to make any attempt to save it. Alvar Torstensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Sandwall in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Jonstorp's zone, Lennart Sandwall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvar Torstensson came out of the goal and Lennart Sandwall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvar Torstensson made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Jörn Wallin sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Jonstorp booed when Saltsjöbaden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Hybbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonstorp's Alvar Torstensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Wallin in the 84th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Saltsjöbaden's Jörn Wallin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alvar Torstensson. That made the score 0-3 after 89 minutes of play. The Jonstorp supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Saltsjöbaden's performance. The match ended with a win for Saltsjöbaden.
