The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Björn Asserlind who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Ted Stålman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Björn Asserlind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ted Stålman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sven Duset's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ted Stålman was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Abrahamsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 2YK FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fellingsbro FF the free kick. Jens-Ove Abrahamsson kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With a little luck, 2YK FF's Ted Stålman got control of the ball when Sven Duset tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fellingsbro FF's Casper Lidberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Boberg in the 21st minute of play. Ted Stålman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Duset in the 30th minute of the match. Björn Asserlind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ted Stålman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Björn Asserlind struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ted Stålman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fellingsbro FF. 44 minutes into the match, Fellingsbro FF's Björn Asserlind sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ted Stålman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Edvard Andersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. 2YK FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvard Andersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Lidberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bo Boberg to make the kick off. Fellingsbro FF's Sven Duset got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bo Boberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Casper Lidberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Björn Asserlind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ted Stålman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to 2YK FF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jens-Ove Abrahamsson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Asserlind in the 70th minute of play forced 2YK FF's goalkeeper Ted Stålman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the 2YK FF defense, Sven Duset kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ted Stålman. The 2YK FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ted Stålman should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fellingsbro FF fully deserved thier win.
