In the 28th minute Claes Jespersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Groth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sonny Ahlén struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Christoffer Groth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nås. Edvin Pååk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Hugo Låsberg's late challenge caught a Skillingsfors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
