An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Apelqvist in the 3rd minute of play forced Ramdala's goalkeeper Timmy Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sebastian Björklund fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ramdala's protests and gave Sebastian Björklund a yellow card for diving instead. Sebastian Björklund hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Ingvar Bergqvist fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ängelholm FK's protests and gave Ingvar Bergqvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Oscar Hedberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramdala's Birger Uggla got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Birger Uggla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conny Larsfelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börge Nyqvist having to interfere. Birger Uggla might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Börge Nyqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Birger Uggla ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 30 minutes, Verner Snell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ängelholm FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Verner Snell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timmy Månsson was a little too slow when Gabriel Apelqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of Ramdala booed when Ängelholm FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Conny Larsfelt came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ramdala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conny Larsfelt couldn't finish the play. Conny Larsfelt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Apelqvist was the one to do the kick off. Timmy Månsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Apelqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Ängelholm FK booed when Ramdala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolf Näver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Verner Snell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Timmy Månsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Conny Larsfelt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramdala's supporters rose to their feet, but Conny Larsfelt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börge Nyqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timmy Månsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Apelqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gabriel Apelqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conny Larsfelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Börge Nyqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramdala's Birger Uggla got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A very good chance for a goal. 81 minutes into the match, Ängelholm FK's goalkeeper Börge Nyqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birger Uggla. Ängelholm FK's Börge Nyqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magne Boberg in the 84th minute of play. Ramdala's Birger Uggla got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Börge Nyqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conny Larsfelt in the 87th minute of play. Conny Larsfelt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Börge Nyqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Uggla in the 92nd minute of play. Ramdala's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Ängelholm FK had won, even though Ramdala had held more of the ball.
