A collision led to Kävlinge FK getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Nils Hedkvist hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Hedkvist in the 17th minute of play forced Björkliden's goalkeeper Christer Gulliksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christer Gulliksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils Hedkvist went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Evert Offendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Gustaf Ennegren kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Björkliden's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Hedkvist came free, but Christer Gulliksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Björn Engström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Björn Engström put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Björkliden:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kävlinge FK:s goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Leif Stenström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leif Stenström charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leif Stenström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leif Stenström hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Alfons Billberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anthon Fribäck was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Nils Hedkvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christer Gulliksson. That made the score 0-3 in the 61 minute of play. Leif Stenström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Christer Gulliksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils Hedkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Kävlinge FK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Urban Hultman hit a great ball. When Alfons Billberg came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Björkliden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfons Billberg couldn't finish the play. Björkliden's Christer Gulliksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Björkliden from getting a goal against them. Mattias Nordlund hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Sven-Arne Alberg's late challenge caught a Kävlinge FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Arne Alberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kävlinge FK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Evert Offendahl hit a great ball. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kävlinge FK's goalkeeper Anthon Fribäck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Kävlinge FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kävlinge FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
