Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joakim Nyman started the match with the kick off. Sixten Tidén made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Arman Berggren sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claes Stålberg in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Rune Blomquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th play minute Arman Berggren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sixten Tidén. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joakim Nyman in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixten Tidén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tony Fribäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joakim Nyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Sixten Tidén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arman Berggren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claes Stålberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tony Fribäck in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt-Rune Blomquist saved IFK Björnen from getting behind. Bengt-Rune Blomquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Fribäck in the 41st minute of the match. Claes Stålberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Blomquist having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tony Fribäck made a kick off. Lars Kjellqvist hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Bengt-Rune Blomquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Fribäck in the 63rd minute of the match. If Tony Fribäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arman Berggren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sixten Tidén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joakim Nyman's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Nyman in the 88th minute of play forced Vaggeryd's goalkeeper Sixten Tidén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
