Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vidar Ahlqvist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd match minute, Malgomaj Lakers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Biörkquist to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Jens-Ove Tönnberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Åtvidaberg FF's Algot Forssberg. Algot Forssberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Niklas Göransson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Dalberg in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Dalberg got free with Niklas Göransson in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jens-Ove Tönnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Algot Forssberg having to interfere. Herman Biörkquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Malgomaj Lakers booed when Åtvidaberg FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Åke Fransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Algot Forssberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Vennersten in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Daniel Vennersten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malgomaj Lakers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Vennersten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens-Ove Tönnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Algot Forssberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Åtvidaberg FF's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Vennersten came free, but Algot Forssberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vidar Ahlqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Dalberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niklas Göransson having to make a save. After 44 played minutes Åtvidaberg FF got a freekick which was hit by Sixten Vestlund. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Åtvidaberg FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gösta Bröms was slow to take the kick. During this time Malgomaj Lakers's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Malgomaj Lakers's Gösta Bröms to fire away a dangerous shot which Algot Forssberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Vennersten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Vennersten to strike the kick off in the second half. Jens-Ove Tönnberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Algot Forssberg made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Åtvidaberg FF's Stig-Åke Fransson got a free kick in the 54th minute. Algot Forssberg made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Jens-Ove Tönnberg sent off a good shot on target. If Jens-Ove Tönnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eric Dalberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Göransson having to interfere. Jens-Ove Tönnberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Algot Forssberg made a huge save. Vidar Ahlqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niklas Göransson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eric Dalberg's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Åtvidaberg FF's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Vennersten came free, but Algot Forssberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Sixten Vestlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 minutes of play, Åtvidaberg FF's Vidar Ahlqvist made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niklas Göransson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vidar Ahlqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Dalberg struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Niklas Göransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åtvidaberg FF. After a defensive mix-up in Malgomaj Lakers's zone, Vidar Ahlqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niklas Göransson came out of the goal and Vidar Ahlqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidar Ahlqvist in the 96th minute of play forced Malgomaj Lakers's goalkeeper Niklas Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
