The supporters of Hälsö IK booed when Sjötorp BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Sundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Erik Salkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Erik Salkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Sten Ekström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Erik Salkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sjötorp BF's Sten Ekström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Lindström in the 40th minute of play. Sven-Erik Salkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Sten Ekström made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Linus Jakobsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Sten Ekström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Lindström in the 56th minute of play. Sören Gustafsson kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Boris Lindström sped through Sjötorp BF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sten Ekström. In the 64th minute Boris Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sten Ekström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Lindström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Smitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Sven-Erik Salkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sten Ekström was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Hälsö IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boris Lindström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sten Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Lindström in the 82nd minute of the match. Sten Ekström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Erik Salkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Ingemar Axelsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Linus Jakobsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boris Lindström struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Sten Ekström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hälsö IK.
