When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Linus Jakobsson made the kick off in the second half. Niklas Göransson was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Linus Jakobsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Linus Jakobsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Ingemar Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that Daniel Vennersten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sten Ekström was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Jakobsson in the 86th minute of play forced Malgomaj Lakers's goalkeeper Niklas Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-3 became the score in the 96th minute when Ingemar Axelsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sjötorp BF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
