Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kjell-Arne Bruhn got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute of the match Algot Julin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casper Sandberg skillfully saved the ball. Sven-Oskar Lindholm's late challenge caught a Aspabruk FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Oskar Lindholm helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Jonas Apelkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Katrineholm! In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Aspabruk FK. Arvid Collin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Casper Sandberg. 0-1. Casper Sandberg came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Aspabruk FK's Kjell-Arne Bruhn. But to his dismay, Kjell-Arne Bruhn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Örjan Lindström hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Sverker Qvalfeldt sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Aspabruk FK's Birger Dahlberg didn't even have to move. Nils-Åke Godholm received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Birger Dahlberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Nils-Åke Godholm slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 26th minute. Aspabruk FK's Birger Dahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Åke Godholm in the 31st minute of play. Casper Sandberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kjell-Arne Bruhn's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Elliott Frisck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Casper Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliott Frisck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils-Åke Godholm to make the kick off. Aleksander Bergfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Birger Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute Aleksander Bergfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Dahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Aspabruk FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Katrineholm:s goal. Birger Dahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Bergfeldt in the 70th minute of play. Nils-Åke Godholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Birger Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils-Åke Godholm took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Birger Dahlberg. Birger Dahlberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Sven-Oskar Lindholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Birger Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Katrineholm's Nils-Åke Godholm got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nils-Åke Godholm came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Katrineholm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils-Åke Godholm couldn't finish the play. Aleksander Bergfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Birger Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Katrineholm's Nils-Åke Godholm got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Aspabruk FK getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Filiph Wennerquist hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Katrineholm's Nils-Åke Godholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Birger Dahlberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There was no doubt that Katrineholm were the better team. Katrineholm's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
