Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ålidhem's Gert Lundqvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Håkan Bergren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gert Lundqvist's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Holger Sjö blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Håkan Bergren having to make a save. Charlies IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Gert Lundqvist scored to the left of an out of position Håkan Bergren, making the score, 1-0. Holger Sjö struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Håkan Bergren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ålidhem. Ålidhem's Niklas Björkkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Wassenius in the 34th minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, Charlies IF's Andreas Valström made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niklas Björkkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Allan Wassenius made a kick off. In the 54th minute Gert Lundqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Bergren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Valström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Wassenius hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ålidhem booed when Charlies IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Söderman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tor Sandström, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Holger Sjö fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Bergren having to interfere. A collision led to Charlies IF getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Peder Eliasson hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gert Lundqvist in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Håkan Bergren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Allan Wassenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Allan Wassenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Björkkvist having to interfere. Åke Sikström hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Charlies IF were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Ålidhem to leave the ground with a draw.
