Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Allan Wassenius took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute Patrick Söderman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Molander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlies IF's Håkan Bergren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Wallin in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Henrik Wallin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ac Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Wallin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Håkan Bergren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Nilsson hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 16 minutes, Arvin Västerstrand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ac Milan and the Charlies IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Ac Milan got a freekick which was hit by Arvin Västerstrand. Andreas Valström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ac Milan's Leonardo Nilsson got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, Thomas Kilström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ac Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charlies IF the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Wassenius in the 28th minute of play forced Ac Milan's goalkeeper Ralf Molander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrik Wallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Håkan Bergren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Allan Wassenius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charlies IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrik Wallin was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Bernt Malmgren put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Ac Milan getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Bernt Malmgren hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Kent Göransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charlies IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Göransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ralf Molander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, John Magnusson sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Ralf Molander threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for John Magnusson this time. In the 63rd match minute, Ac Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Pedersson to maneuver through the defense. Charlies IF's John Magnusson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ralf Molander but with some difficulty. In the 72nd minute, Jan-Olof Aleberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charlies IF's Håkan Bergren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Mellin in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Allan Wassenius recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ralf Molander. Allan Wassenius showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Ralf Molander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Wassenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andreas Valström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ralf Molander having to make a save. If Leonardo Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Wassenius in the 95th minute of play forced Ac Milan's goalkeeper Ralf Molander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ac Milan's Ralf Molander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Wassenius in the 97th minute of play. Charlies IF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
