The referee ignored Ålidhem's protests and gave Tor Sandström a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Visby IK booed when Ålidhem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Sandström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Sjödin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Ålidhem's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Anundsson came free, but Niklas Björkkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Gert Lundqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ålidhem's Niklas Björkkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Ålidhem from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Arvin Kilman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaf Benet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Niklas Björkkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Niklas Björkkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaf Benet in the 28th minute. Ivar Anundsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Ivar Anundsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Gustaf Benet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The wind increased when Ivar Anundsson made the kick off in the second half. Gunnar Ahlfors made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Åke Sikström sent off a good shot on target. Mattias Brander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gert Lundqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gunnar Ahlfors having to make a save. Ivar Anundsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Niklas Björkkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gert Lundqvist came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ålidhem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gert Lundqvist couldn't finish the play. Urban Brandt charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urban Brandt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Urban Brandt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Visby IK's zone, Holger Sjö stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Ahlfors came out of the goal and Holger Sjö tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustaf Benet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niklas Björkkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Niklas Björkkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Anundsson in the 94th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
