Jesper Örn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Christoffersson's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Abisko's Jesper Örn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Christoffersson in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Abisko getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Hugo Bergfelt hit a great ball. Carl Christoffersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jesper Örn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Hugo Bergfelt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesper Örn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny Berggren in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Abisko booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenny Berggren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Simon Mellbad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Bergfelt, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ulrik Larsfelt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jesper Örn. Abisko's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Carl Christoffersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Christoffersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Christoffersson couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the game, Kenny Berggren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jesper Örn. Kenny Berggren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. 85 minutes into the game, Ulrik Larsfelt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abisko the free kick. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AC Milan! After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Harald Gabrielsson got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Milan's goalkeeper Simon Mellbad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carl Christoffersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jesper Örn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
