Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Marcus Mattsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Peder Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Ove Skog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Reine Öman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Akademin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Pihlgren came free, but Reine Öman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Peder Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Akademin FC booed when Håknäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Mellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reine Öman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Pihlgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Akademin FC's Reine Öman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Mattsson in the 26th minute of play. Reine Öman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Mattsson in the 33rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Håknäs's zone, Peder Lindqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Ove Skog came out of the goal and Peder Lindqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Otto Henriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Peder Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Marcus Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reine Öman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Michael Brander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akademin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Brander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Ove Skog breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michael Brander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Peder Lindqvist made the kick off in the second half. Michael Brander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Håknäs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akademin FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peder Lindqvist in the 80th minute of play forced Håknäs's goalkeeper Sven-Ove Skog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Emanuel Jonasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Mattsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute.
