Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joachim Mellberg made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 3 minutes, Michel Kilman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gislaved RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Kilman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joachim Mellberg in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernst Lindström saved Gustafs BF from getting behind. Linus Persson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Arvidsson in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gustafs BF's goalkeeper Ernst Lindström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ernst Lindström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Kilman in the 10th minute. Michel Kilman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 13 minutes into the game, Joachim Mellberg lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Ernst Lindström. Gustafs BF's Ernst Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Mellberg in the 16th minute of play. Michel Kilman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Joachim Mellberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gislaved RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Joachim Mellberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernst Lindström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ted Arvidsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Linus Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gislaved RK's Joachim Mellberg in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gustafs BF's goalie prevented a goal. Michel Kilman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernst Lindström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Michel Kilman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Erik Blomqvist was the one to do the kick off. Michel Kilman struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ernst Lindström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gislaved RK. The supporters of Gislaved RK booed when Gustafs BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Åke Björklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Rosendal, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 60thth minute of the game Michel Kilman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gustafs BF's Ernst Lindström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Sven-Erik Blomqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gustafs BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Erik Blomqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Gislaved RK's Michel Kilman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernst Lindström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Joachim Mellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernst Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Michel Kilman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gislaved RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Kilman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel Kilman ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Joachim Mellberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gislaved RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Joachim Mellberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernst Lindström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 97 minutes, Knut Forsman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gislaved RK and the Gustafs BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gustafs BF booed when Gislaved RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Forsman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gislaved RK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
