The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörgen Ennegren charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jörgen Ennegren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ljungskile getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jörgen Ennegren hit a great ball. Olle Bruhn was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Ljungskile's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Joachim Mellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustav Hedin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Mellberg in the 24th minute of play. Ljungskile's Gustav Hedin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Mellberg in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ljungskile defense, Joachim Mellberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustav Hedin. The Ljungskile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustav Hedin should have stopped the shot. Olle Bruhn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustav Hedin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Mellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Michel Kilman put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gustav Hedin. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The wind increased when Joachim Mellberg made the kick off in the second half. Mikael Björnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linus Persson having to interfere. Gustav Hedin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joachim Mellberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 58 minute of play. If Michel Kilman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joachim Mellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Hedin having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Gislaved RK's Michel Kilman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustav Hedin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Gustav Hedin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Mellberg in the 91st minute of the match. Joachim Mellberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michel Kilman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gustav Hedin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Gislaved RK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
