Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Evert Nordin made the kick off which started today's match. Leif Enegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Dahlgren in the 3rd minute of play. André Vassenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Lennart Kock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Veddige IFK's Jimmie Lundberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leif Enegren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Veddige IFK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Evert Nordin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Michael Skräddare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Lundgren having to interfere. In the 15th minute August Bäckström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Enegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennart Kock hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. FC Miran's Leif Enegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Bäckström in the 17th minute of play. If Patrick Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, August Bäckström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Veddige IFK booed when FC Miran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stellan Vallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Jimmie Lundberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leif Enegren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lennart Kock's late challenge caught a Veddige IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennart Kock helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Miran getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Lennart Kock hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, FC Miran's Eric Hammarbäck seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eric Hammarbäck the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Miran protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eric Hammarbäck had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Veddige IFK's Jimmie Lundberg got a free kick in the 47th minute. Patrick Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Veddige IFK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when August Bäckström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the match, Melker Askestät got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leif Enegren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Veddige IFK's zone, Michael Skräddare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Lundgren came out of the goal and Michael Skräddare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leif Enegren made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Melker Askestät sent off a good shot on target. Melker Askestät's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Leif Enegren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 68 minutes of play, Veddige IFK's Malte Dahlgren made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leif Enegren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrick Lundgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Skräddare scored 1-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Lundgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th match minute, Veddige IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Vall to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Veddige IFK's zone, Evert Nordin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Lundgren came out of the goal and Evert Nordin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Miran's Lennart Kock got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Miran's Leif Enegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Vestlund in the 89th minute of play. Evert Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Leif Enegren was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Urban Lundgren. Veddige IFK were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over FC Miran's much stronger midfield.
