Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gråbo's Håkan Hägg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sonny Fredriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jonatan Åkerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sonny Fredriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Valla IF's zone, Håkan Hägg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Åkerberg came out of the goal and Håkan Hägg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Gråbo's Sonny Fredriksson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonatan Åkerberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, Edward Ahlén was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valla IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gråbo the free kick. Edward Ahlén kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With his leg Jonatan Åkerberg managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Gråbo's Sonny Fredriksson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eric Engström kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Eric Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes Gråbo got a freekick which was hit by Johan Lind. If Sonny Fredriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sonny Fredriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Jonatan Åkerberg made a huge save. Fredric Siggman charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredric Siggman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fredric Siggman hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Gråbo's Patrik Vikström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Majman in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Hubert Majman made the kick off in the second half. Jonatan Åkerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Hägg, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When Valla IF's Hubert Majman in 55 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Patrik Vikström guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Eric Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Gregersson kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Hubert Majman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Vikström having to interfere. The supporters of Valla IF booed when Gråbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Ljungberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Håkan Hägg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Åkerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Valla IF's goalkeeper Jonatan Åkerberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valla IF's Edward Ahlén got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Edward Ahlén off the ground. 87 minutes into the match, Valla IF's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Hägg came free, but Jonatan Åkerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gråbo's zone, Hubert Majman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Vikström came out of the goal and Hubert Majman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valla IF's Jonatan Henriksson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Patrik Vikström but with some difficulty. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
