Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ingemar Wassenius made the kick off and thus started the match. When Muppin FC's Ingemar Wassenius in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åsarna's goalie prevented a goal. Ingemar Wassenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Ian Hultin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ove Nyman. Åsarna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ian Hultin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ingmar Hydén's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Reynaldo Naelio firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Lennart Hegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingemar Wassenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Åsarna's zone, Ingemar Wassenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Nyman came out of the goal and Ingemar Wassenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Åsarna's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Wassenius came free, but Ove Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Ingemar Wassenius made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Åsarna's Ove Nyman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Egil Wennerquist took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ove Nyman. Ove Nyman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ingemar Wassenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ingmar Hydén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alf Wenerdahl made the kick off in the second half. Ove Nyman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingemar Wassenius in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute, Muppin FC's Ingemar Wassenius dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. When Lennart Hegg came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Muppin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Hegg couldn't finish the play. Lucas Säfström hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ove Nyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Wassenius in the 67th minute of play. Ingemar Wassenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Nyman having to interfere. If Alf Wenerdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Muppin FC's Ingemar Wassenius in 73 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ove Nyman guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Lennart Hegg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute, Muppin FC's Ingemar Wassenius dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. 81 minutes into the match, Åsarna's goalkeeper Ove Nyman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingemar Wassenius. If Ingemar Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Muppin FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
