Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alf Wenerdahl started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klas Kruse during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Åsarna getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Klas Kruse hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Åsarna's Alf Wenerdahl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Svante Lönn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Rune Uggla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andréas Söderberg during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bertil Brogren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Svante Lönn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Hydén in the 24th minute of play. Rune Uggla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Nyman having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Åsarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Grep to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Rune Uggla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingmar Hydén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svante Lönn having to interfere. Åsarna's Ove Nyman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Åsarna from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Peter Ålberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ove Nyman. That made the score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 48th minute when Rune Uggla elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rune Uggla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Rune Uggla made a precise shot to the right of Ove Nyman. Åsarna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Ove Nyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Uggla in the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Nygård IK booed when Åsarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Wenerdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Åsarna getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Lucas Säfström hit a great ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Rune Uggla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åsarna's Ove Nyman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nygård IK's goalkeeper Svante Lönn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rune Uggla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rune Uggla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ove Nyman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After 82 minutes, Rune Uggla made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Åsarna's Ove Nyman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th match minute, Nygård IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sverker Petersson to maneuver through the defense. Ove Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Åsarna's goalkeeper Ove Nyman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rune Uggla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Åsarna's zone, Peter Ålberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Nyman came out of the goal and Peter Ålberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Ålberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Nygård IK were the better team. Nygård IK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
