Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bernt Mårtensson started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Hermansson in the 3rd minute of play forced Läderpojkarna's goalkeeper Conny Valström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilhelm Pil was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute, one of Läderpojkarna:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Läderpojkarna. Ludwig Hermansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Conny Valström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fredric Svanström charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredric Svanström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Läderpojkarna got a freekick which was hit by Fredric Svanström. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Joseph Söderquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaggeryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Söderquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conny Valström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, Vaggeryd's Ludwig Hermansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conny Valström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ludwig Hermansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conny Valström was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Vaggeryd's Torsten Wiklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Magnus Skräddare in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Patric Ahlqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marcus Olenberg fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vaggeryd's protests and gave Marcus Olenberg a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Läderpojkarna's Douglas Haegg tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Marcus Olenberg hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Torsten Wiklund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jörgen Lindgren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. Jörgen Lindgren struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Torsten Wiklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Läderpojkarna. After having played for 45 minutes, Joseph Söderquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vaggeryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Söderquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Ludwig Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joseph Söderquist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jonas Myhr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conny Valström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludwig Hermansson in the 60th minute. Ludwig Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Valström having to interfere. Ludwig Hermansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Conny Valström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Wiklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörgen Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Jörgen Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Wiklund having to interfere. Torsten Wiklund came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Läderpojkarna's Jörgen Lindgren. But to his dismay, Jörgen Lindgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Joseph Söderquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ludwig Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Myhr kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Urban Rudqvist sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Läderpojkarna's Conny Valström didn't even have to move. Ludwig Hermanssons short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Conny Valström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vaggeryd's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
