A collision led to Skånelaget getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Yngve Pihlwall hit a great ball. When Karl Ennegren came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ursviken RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Ennegren couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Skånelaget's goal looked a bit too open when Verner Kolberg came free, but Jimmie Skog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Karl Ennegren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimmie Skog was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jimmie Skog showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Verner Kolberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jimmie Skog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Skånelaget's zone, Karl Ennegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmie Skog came out of the goal and Karl Ennegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Tom Boman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ursviken RK's Alex Lönn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Lundin in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Philip Lundin to strike the kick off in the second half. When %teams%'s Karl Ennegren was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-2 just inside the left pole, 55 minutes into the game. Jimmie Skog was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Alex Lönn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Lundin in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ursviken RK's zone, Mattias Hellström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Lönn came out of the goal and Mattias Hellström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Lönn having to interfere. When Karl Ennegren came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Ursviken RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Ennegren couldn't finish the play. Pelle Hääger kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Jimmie Skog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Ennegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Verner Kolberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jimmie Skog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
