Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Isak Fridlund got the match started through his kick off. After 6 minutes of play, Ljungbyholm IF's Frank Drewitz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingemar Ström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christian Hermansson hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Kalle Linqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isak Fridlund in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Isak Fridlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Isak Fridlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kalle Linqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ingemar Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Kråk in the 32nd minute of play. Ingvar Bennet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Isak Fridlund came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Klagstorp BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isak Fridlund couldn't finish the play. If Bertil Kråk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bertil Kråk to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes, Ljungbyholm IF's Osvald Qvarnström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ingemar Ström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ljungbyholm IF reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Bennet got free with Kalle Linqvist in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the game, Ljungbyholm IF's Bertil Kråk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ingemar Ström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 66 minutes into the match, Ljungbyholm IF's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Fridlund came free, but Kalle Linqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingemar Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Kråk in the 69th minute of play. Jörgen Göransson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Klagstorp BF's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Kråk came free, but Ingemar Ström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Joakim Olofsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Frank Drewitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Bertil Kråk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljungbyholm IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Kråk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Drewitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Ström having to interfere. Ingemar Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Kråk in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Frank Drewitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ljungbyholm IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
