After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Börje Njurenius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lögdeå's supporters rose to their feet, but Börje Njurenius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kalle Linqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Börje Njurenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kalle Linqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Njurenius in the 11th minute of the match. Ian Alebom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Kalle Linqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kalle Linqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Njurenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Ian Alebom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Kalle Linqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rdth minute of the game Börje Njurenius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ljungbyholm IF's Kalle Linqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Lögdeå booed when Ljungbyholm IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zebastian Harman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lögdeå's Ian Alebom in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ljungbyholm IF's goalie prevented a goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ljungbyholm IF's goalkeeper Kalle Linqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Börje Njurenius to strike the kick off in the second half. Bertil Kråk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hampus Sundin having to interfere. Hampus Sundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Kråk in the 58th minute of play. When Bertil Kråk came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ljungbyholm IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertil Kråk couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Lögdeå's Arne Lund got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute Frank Drewitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampus Sundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalle Linqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Njurenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ian Alebom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lögdeå's Börje Njurenius pulled a muscle in his back after 91 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 91 minutes into the game, Osvald Qvarnström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ljungbyholm IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lögdeå the free kick. The supporters of Lögdeå booed when Ljungbyholm IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvald Qvarnström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertil Kråk struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Hampus Sundin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ljungbyholm IF. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lögdeå players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ljungbyholm IF.
