After 3 played minutes Rejmyre got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Carlsson. 6 minutes into the match, Michael Nyqvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lars-Erik Gerdberg, 1-0. After 10th play minutes Michael Nyqvist shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Lars-Erik Gerdberg and just under the crossbar into goal. Edgar Vinström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Edgar Vinström put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lars-Erik Gerdberg. Michael Nyqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lars-Erik Gerdberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sundborn booed when Rejmyre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Alkvist's late challenge caught a Sundborn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Alkvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rejmyre getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Tomas Alkvist hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Rejmyre's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Nyqvist came free, but Lars-Erik Gerdberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Vinström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lars-Erik Gerdberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sundborn booed when Rejmyre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lars-Erik Gerdberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Nyqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Nyqvist during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Alkvist made a kick off. When Edgar Vinström came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Sundborn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Vinström couldn't finish the play. Sundborn's Åke Norström got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars-Erik Gerdberg came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Sundborn's Edgar Vinström. But to his dismay, Edgar Vinström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 73rdth minute of the game Michael Nyqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rejmyre's Lars-Erik Gerdberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Michael Nyqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars-Erik Gerdberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michael Nyqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Bror Tillman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bror Tillman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Patrik Sjögren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Edgar Vinström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundborn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Vinström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Norström in the 91st minute of play forced Rejmyre's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Gerdberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sundborn fully deserved thier win.
