Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Christer Kilström made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 7th match minute, Sundborn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Sjödin to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Bröms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Nyqvist in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Hellbom in the 16th minute of play forced Sundborn's goalkeeper Patrik Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Edgar Vinström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Michael Nyqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thomas Bröms. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Kosta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sundborn:s goal. Thomas Bröms had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Paul Sjödin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anders Lustig during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paul Sjödin, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Michael Nyqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thomas Bröms. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. After 35 played minutes Kosta got a freekick which was hit by Roy Mattsson. Thomas Bröms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Nyqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Thomas Bröms made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Charles Finnman sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Charles Finnman took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Thomas Bröms to make any attempt to save it. Charles Finnman's late challenge caught a Kosta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charles Finnman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kosta booed when Sundborn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Finnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michael Nyqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Kosta's Anders Lustig got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Michael Nyqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michael Nyqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Bröms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Nyqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Bröms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Nyqvist in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Kosta's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Nyqvist came free, but Thomas Bröms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Vinström took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Bröms. Thomas Bröms dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 77 minutes into the match, Edgar Vinström notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Kosta's Thomas Bröms. Thomas Bröms was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paul Sjödin during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sundborn getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Paul Sjödin hit a great ball. A hard shot by Roy Mattsson from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Patrik Sjögren's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Edgar Vinström might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Bröms. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Vinström ran back to his position shaking his head. Thomas Bröms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Nyqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes, Roy Mattsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kosta and the Sundborn players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes Kosta got a freekick which was hit by Roy Mattsson. When Michael Nyqvist came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Sundborn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Nyqvist couldn't finish the play. Edgar Vinström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Bröms having to interfere. Sundborn walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
