With a little luck, Radio Östergötland's Jimmie Svartengren got control of the ball when Calle Andersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arne Wennerlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jimmie Svartengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Staffanstorp got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Zachrisson. In the 11th minute, Josef Nyberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Håkan Persson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Robert Lund charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Lund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Staffanstorp got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Hybbert. The attack was good, but when Josef Nyberg in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 24 played minutes Radio Östergötland got a freekick which was hit by Robert Lund. Håkan Persson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Nyberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingvar Hybbert during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Radio Östergötland booed when Staffanstorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Hybbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimmie Svartengren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Calle Andersson struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jimmie Svartengren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Staffanstorp. If Calle Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arne Wennerlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arne Wennerlund in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmie Svartengren saved Radio Östergötland from getting behind. Bo Unesson charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bo Unesson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arne Wennerlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimmie Svartengren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arne Wennerlund in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmie Svartengren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rasmus Bergendahl hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Radio Östergötland's zone, Calle Andersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmie Svartengren came out of the goal and Calle Andersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arne Wennerlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radio Östergötland's Jimmie Svartengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Andersson in the 64th minute of play. But to his dismay, Arne Wennerlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Lucas Stensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimmie Svartengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Andersson in the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Staffanstorp's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Nyberg came free, but Håkan Persson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Staffanstorp's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
