Nicklas Samuelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Stig-Ove Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Stenquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Andreas Heggert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sune Haström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ingmar Hägglund came out and tried to block the shot, but Sune Haström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. If Folke Åström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Trensum's zone, Folke Åström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingmar Hägglund came out of the goal and Folke Åström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fredhälls IF's Folke Åström got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sune Haström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingmar Hägglund having to make a save. Folke Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Hägglund having to interfere. Ingmar Hägglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Haström in the 34th minute of play. Alfred Lidberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Stig Stenquist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig-Ove Eriksson was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Aleksander Siggman fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trensum's protests and gave Aleksander Siggman a yellow card for diving instead. Aleksander Siggman kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Ingmar Hägglund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sune Haström's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. If Sune Haström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Stig Stenquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trensum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig Stenquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Folke Åström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ingmar Hägglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Folke Åström in the 70th minute of play forced Trensum's goalkeeper Ingmar Hägglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Carlsson's late challenge caught a Trensum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Carlsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Fredhälls IF got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Carlsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Heggert in the 84th minute of play forced Fredhälls IF's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Eriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Folke Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Hägglund having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Haström in the 89th minute of play forced Trensum's goalkeeper Ingmar Hägglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Folke Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Hägglund having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Trensum's Stig-Ove Eriksson threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andreas Heggert, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 96th minute, Sune Haström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fredhälls IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Trensum's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
