Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jens-Ove Åkesson got the match started through his kick off. Valter Lönn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Åkesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. If Ove Överman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magne Olsman during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lyckeby GOIF's Magne Olsman got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 13th match minute, Laxå IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Bergström to maneuver through the defense. Herbert Möller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Algot Godholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Algot Godholm came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Lyckeby GOIF's Ove Överman. But to his dismay, Ove Överman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alexander Norström charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Norström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexander Norström kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Laxå IK's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Överman came free, but Algot Godholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Benjamin Berglund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laxå IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lyckeby GOIF the free kick. Benjamin Berglund kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Andy Mattsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Algot Godholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magne Olsman, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Herbert Möller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Emanuel Sellberg fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laxå IK's protests and gave Emanuel Sellberg a yellow card for diving instead. Andy Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Lönn having to interfere. If Ove Överman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Laxå IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lyckeby GOIF were winning 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Möller made a kick off. After 57 played minutes Lyckeby GOIF got a freekick which was hit by Magne Olsman. Jens-Ove Åkesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herbert Möller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Laxå IK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Emanuel Sellberg hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Lyckeby GOIF's Johannes Hurtig broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jens-Ove Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Valter Lönn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Ove Åkesson in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valter Lönn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Lyckeby GOIF defense, Jens-Ove Åkesson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valter Lönn. The Lyckeby GOIF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valter Lönn should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Laxå IK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Emanuel Sellberg hit a great ball. Valter Lönn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Mattsson in the 93rd minute of the match. Algot Godholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Möller, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Ove Överman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Algot Godholm having to interfere. The Lyckeby GOIF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Laxå IK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
